I saw it recently on Warner Archive Instant. It is a good strong 70s thriller with a very ingenious plot and a wonderful cast working at the top of thir abilities. It is hard not to be surprised at least once during its runtime. And the use of the Bette Midler song at the end has to be one of the most ironically funny (not to mention tounge-in-cheek) moments in any 70s film.

At any moment did you guess the killer at all?. Actually, I had heard a while back who the killer was, so it wasn't a surprise there, but I was surprised by a few details such as James Coburn's character getting stabbed twice by two different people. And they did put that red herring in toward the beginning in which the guilty party is standing under the A of the ship's name.

What a cool 70's flick! Written by Anthony Perkins and Stephen Sondheim! Murder mystery set on a yacht with Dyan Cannon and James Mason, together again for the first time before Heaven Can Wait. Lots of fun, I really recommend this movie.

I saw it on TCM a few years ago and I think that its a pretty good original whodunit.
