The reason I ask is because these are the only two shows where every principal cast member won an Emmy for his/her performance.
Which ensemble do you prefer?

Golden Girls, which stakes a strong claim at being the best four-person ensemble in TV comedy history. I found every non-Mullally performance in Will & Grace to be unmemorable at best and borderline unwatchable at worst.

Golden Girls, which stakes a strong claim at being the best four-person ensemble in TV comedy history. I found every non-Mullally performance in Will & Grace to be unmemorable at best and borderline unwatchable at worst. This so much!!! I know that Jack and Karen were the breakout stars of Will & Grace when it first aired, and while Sean Hayes had some funny moments, I would have probably gave his Emmy to Peter Boyle. I know Boyle did win once for his appearance on The X-Files, but I always hated how he was the funniest part of Everybody Loves Raymond, imo, and never won while his castmates did. There's probably someone that got snubbed that never won that probably should have, but looking at the nominees I guess I didn't dislike Hayes winning too much compared to Emmy wins that I really loath since David Hyde Pierce, Brad Garrett, and Peter MacNicol already won the category. Still I'm glad he wasn't a repeat winner. I see Debra Messing beat Jane Kaczmarek, Jennifer Aniston, Patricia Heaton, and Sarah Jessica Parker. I definitely wouldn't have went with Heaton, and while Aniston and SJP would have been okay winning again, I would have definitely threw a bone to Kaczmarek who deserved to win at least one time for her portrayal of Lois. With McCormack's win, he's sort of like Hayes's win in that I guess against his competition most of whom had won or would win, it's not that big of a deal I guess that he won, although there was probably someone out there that was snubbed that should have won instead. Still even with John Lithgow, Kelsey Grammer, and Ray Romano all having won the category, I probably still would have went with them over McCormack. Sorry Frankie Muniz. You were good as Malcolm, but I don't know about Emmy worthy especially if Kaczmarek and Cranston remained Emmy-less. As for The Golden Girls, I still watch reruns of it even some of the marathons that whichever cable station owns the syndication rights to at that time will do. It still holds up, and the actresses are all legendary. The wonky continuity doesn't even bother me, and just adds to the charm of the show.
