I wrote it somewhere before but I'll say it again: FUCK the stupid vapid American movie journos who have been downplaying the Cannes Film Festival and its prestige for the last couple of years just because the festival wasn't infested with pre-decided English-language award hopefuls, giving nothing for those lazy arseholes to write about and making them actually do some research about world cinema.
