I was excited for Harriet but it was honestly one of the worst biopics I've seen. Erivo tried her hardest but that was kind of the problem because her suuuper dramatic performance just exposed the hollowness of the screenplay/character. Whole thing felt like a TV movie from 2003.

My picks:

BEST ACTOR - Joaquin Phoenix. My alternative would be Pryce, but Egerton would have been my 2nd choice if nominated.
BEST ACTRESS - Renee Zellwegger. Ronan runner-up. Loved her in the film.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR - Brad Pitt. Hands down the best. He nailed every scene he was in.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS - Scarlett Johansson. In a close second would be Florence Pugh.
