After seeing all the nominees, Pesci followed very closely by Pacino for me.

A pretty stellar lineup. Easy to abbreviate too: PHPHP!

We're back at the early 90s...
I'd say Pesci and Pacino gave the best performances of the bunch. I wouldn't have a problem even if Hopkins won. Actually imo it's anyone but Pitt...

I'm happy that Pitt will finally win an Oscar, but I had to vote for Pesci as I feel his performance is really supporting, and the best out of those that are supporting. Pacino would be a close second. Hanks was fine, but I don't know, there were a few times I kept seeing Hanks as Mr. Rodgers rather than him disappearing into the role.
Still haven't seen Hopkins, and I'm not sure I'll be able to unless I get Netflix again, or find other ways to find it.

I ain't seen Hanks, his film isn't out here for a couple more weeks, but unless he blows me away so much that I'm no longer in the cinema, then Pesci should win supporting actor.
Pitt, much like Dern, is one of my favourite actors, and I am so disappointed that they are winning Oscars for what they are winning for.

For Oscar it's Pitt. For SAG, Pesci could possibly upset, like Denzel Washington for Fences. The SAG awards wren't around at the peak of Pesci's career. And if OUATIH wins Ensemble, Pitt will be rewarded.

My emotional vote went to Pacino here. I loved him here esp how he was shown with kids and Paquin. A joy to watch. Wasn't expecting scarface to get this endearing. The phone call scene was heartbreaking due to him alone imo. And yet, I can't resent Cliff Booth his win. I wish he was given more screentime and a Best Actor bid, though
