Shut out?
and if so, which one(s) do you think is most vulnerable?
Thanks in advance for any comments or opinions!

Not sure if it will happen but I would say The Irishman is definitely the most vulnerable

Irishman could get shut out pretty easily. Joker has Phoenix, Hollywood has Pitt and screenplay, 1917 has Mendes and is bound to win a tech or two. None of these are surefire locks, but easy votes compared to Irishman not having the lead anywhere (maaaaybe best editing).

The Irishman is definitely the most vulnerable. It may get some awards (editing, adapted screenplay or maybe even bd although the chances are pretty bad for this) but it could easily leave empty handed.

1917 has Deakins OUATIH has Pitt Joker has Phoenix
The Irishman isn't a frontrunner in any category. I think it wins editing but that category is a toss-up, leaving screenplay as its only chance to score anything, and I could see that swing over to Little Women really fast. It's definitely the most vulnerable.

The Irishman is at huge risk of getting Gangs of New York'd. Adapted Screenplay is at risk of going to either Gerwig or Waititi (likely the former) and I just don't see it winning Best Editing against its competition, regardless of Thelma's pedigree. VFX is probably its best bet at this rate, but I'm thinking Avengers: Endgame might be the one to beat because it's the culmination of the entire franchise and it has the MOST visuals on-screen.

The Irishman will win at least one Oscar. The Gerwig /Tatitti winning Screenplay talk is retarded

The Irishman's best shot is Adapted Screenplay, and I don't think it's the odds-on favorite even in that category. It's clearly the most vulnerable.
