BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAY The Irishman (Globes, WGA, USC Scripter, BAFTAs), Jojo Rabbit, Little Women (WGA, BAFTA, Scripter) are pretty much locks here. They swept all the big industry awards. That leaves two spots open. You have The Two Popes (Globe, BAFTA), Joker (WGA, BAFTA), A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (WGA), Dark Waters (Scripter), and Judy (Zellwegger buzz) as the main contenders.
I say Joker and The Two Popes gets in.
BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY You can pretty much check the boxes for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Globe winner, BAFTA), Marriage Story and Parasite (Globe, WGA, BAFTA). They are in. Now lets turn to the wildcards here. We have Booksmart and Knives Out (WGA, BAFTA), 1917 (WGA), Uncut Gems (NBR winner), The Farewell, Pain and Glory, and Portrait of a Lady on Fire (Popular Foreign Language films) as the main contenders for the last two spots.
I say Knives Out and Booksmart, although I am tempted to go 1917 instead of Booksmart.
How about you?

my take:
Little Women The Irishman Jojo Rabbit Joker A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Two Popes might take that 5th slot but there seems to be a lot of respect for the ABDITN's screenplay while McCarten has been under-performing, including losing the WGA nod to 1917 and Booksmart.
Parasite Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Marriage Story Knives Out Booksmart
Booksmart getting the WGA nod and then getting in over 1917 at the BAFTAs against all odds sealed its 5th place status IMO. The Farewell and Pain and Glory are still possible (one, not both) but with neither of them on the board it's hard to predict them over Booksmart (in 5th) and 1917 (in 6th).

I have the same for Adapted (The Irishman, Joker, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, and The Two Popes).
Then for Original I have the expected 3 (Marriage Story, OUATIH, and Parasite), and then Knives Out for the fourth spot. I don't know for the last spot. Maybe Booksmart because it made WGA and BAFTA, but Uncut Gems peaked at the right time and is A24, so I guess I'll go with Uncut Gems.
It could also be The Farewell in the A24 spot, but I think it ends up getting zero nominations in the end when I did think it could get 4-6 nominations when it was doing so well over the summer. Just no traction for it at all with top tier critics.
