Critics Choice nominated it for Picture, Director and Editing. The Globes nominated it for Drama and Director. The Guilds nominated it for PGA, DGA and WGA. The BAFTAs nominated it for Picture and Director.
Will it get original screenplay and/or film editing?
Keep in mind that Spotlight had similar issues.
BAFTA - No Director and Editing GUILDS - PGA, DGA, WGA, but no ACE nod
CRITICS CHOICE - Directing, writing, and editing nods.

I say both although I'm very sceptical about the screenplay nod.

Neither and not an acting nod either which would make a BP win (which is possible) historic because I don't think that's ever happened (hint: no one has been able to confirm this and I'd appreciate the help with that trivia geeks).
If you're an American you shouldn't be logically rooting for 1917 to win BP either, at all - you have 2 huge epic sized American films that are distinctly about America and American history that are competing for a more or less American award. 2019 is not the year to give BP to the new stiff upper lip of British prestige pics - the new Chariots of Fire of World War 1 films, it will age like The Kings Speech in a lot of ways.......it sends all kinds of bad state of the movie business signals.

I think it'll get into Editing but not into Screenplay.

I don't see how it gets in for screenplay after being snubbed on its own home turf where it was supposed to overperform. I assumed the Booksmart WGA nod was a fluke because it's been consistently on the outs until now but it showing up at the BAFTAs validates its position over 1917 and that it's the one going to be fighting with Lulu Wang for that 5th spot.

Editing is gonna be tough cause they don't like to award continuous shots.

Grand Hotel won Best Picture with zero other nominations. So there's your precedent. It ain't a great one, but it's happened before.

I'm surprised very few are predicting it for Original Screenplay. It got in WGA people! It has a shot.

I'm surprised very few are predicting it for Original Screenplay. It got in WGA people! It has a shot. OUATIH, Farewell and Pain and Glory were ineligible so the ones competing for those spots were 1917, Booksmart and potentially Bombshell. There's no one else that could've taken that slot at the WGAs. 1917 was pretty much all they had left, and war films are notoriously weak in this category. Hacksaw Ridge missed after getting a BAFTA nod and 1917 couldn't even do that. And the field is locked down tight with OUATIH, Parasite, Marriage Story all totally safe with Knives Out looking really solid for that 4th slot, leaving Booksmart, The Farewell, 1917, and Pain and Glory (in that order) battling for the 5th slot.

But it's also hard to gauge how that impacts the Oscars since both of those films are in a different race. The point remains that 1917 didn't score a nod at the WGAs at the expense of any of the other original screenplay contenders save Bombshell.

Editing? 5% chance. Writing? 40% chance.
Bonus: Acting? 10% chance.
