Fucking hell. By now I know not to have high expectations for these movies (and yet I still go see them -_-), but I think this might be the first trailer to just say to me, "Yeah, this is going to be torture." I mean, fuck, this girl already makes me miss Shia LaBeouf and I've only seen her in trailers. Not to mention his performance in the third movie was straight-up nails-on-a-chalkboard-and-in-my-fucking-eyes bad. And that J.Lo line? ALSO I think it's hilarious that Bay is trying to go for a strong female lead, though I guess she's not old enough for him to objectify and film from the neck down. The ONLY thing that has me curious is to see how King Arthur and Hitler factor into the movie. But knowing them, it'll probably be handwaved and glossed over.

Michael Bay, the man who does gratuitous ass shots of Megan Fox and other models is now a feminist. Go figure.

Some detractors: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is feminazi propaganda!!!!!! Transformers 5: You ain't seen nothing yet.
I mean, seriously. At least Rey didn't go off into a heavy-handed "girl power" speech.

Yeah, that whole speech made no fucking sense. "Yeah, I fight like a girl...don't you?" WHAT THE FLYING FUCK IS THAT EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! I mean, really, what is it suggesting? Everyone fights like a girl? And how are girls supposed to fight, according to this movie? And WHY do they ALWAYS PICK SUCH SHITTY LEAD ACTORS???? Sorry for all my swearing, this trailer just incensed me the same way all these movies do (AND YET I STILL WATCH THEM).

They're trying real hard to tap into the Stranger Things success. Even the music is reminiscent of it.

That might be the worst trailer I have ever seen. It's incredible how badly put together it is. The movie could be ok, idk.

Even way before the movies came out.

I think I gave up a little on this franchise after the second or third movie. Haven't seen the fourth but heard that one didn't get any better. That trailer definitely seems like an attempt to pander to a female base for this franchise. And that 'super feminist' angle is kinda pushing it, especially (and oddly) coming from a Bay movie.
At least that girl is not being objectified like you said.

This is a franchise that needs a reboot.
