I can honestly see Amodovar sneaking in for a director nomination. Not because of this but it’s been a feeling for a while. His odds are hurt a bit by Bong though.

So they have room for Tom Burke and Tilda Swinton, but not Honor Swinton Byrne

So they have room for Tom Burke and Tilda Swinton, but not Honor Swinton Byrne That is rather odd. On one hand I get it because Byrne is in a more competitive field and she's probably not coming anywhere near my lineups, but then neither is Swinton who was barely in the movie at all. Like, didn't she only have two scenes? And they definitely weren't showy ones... But this is an awards season where Margot Robbie has been nominated for her dancing in OUATIH, so everything's meaningless anyways

Good signs for De Niro and Hanks for BAFTA, and a bad sign for Song who maybe needs BAFTA.
Best Actor at BAFTA this year will be a complete clusterfuck. Whoever predicts it correctly will deserve a prize.
