1 nomination : Either a best actress nod or a supporting actress nod.

Double noms, win for lead. This is going to be my NGNG prediction if she does get nominated in both categories. I know that Weaver and Moore were two actresses that lost when they were double nominated, and hadn't won before like Hunter, Thompson, or Blanchett, but I think it's still pretty rare for someone to be double nominated and lose both categories. Either they fall into the camp of being highly respected/on a hot streak, which I guess sort of fits Johansson but I don't know that she's quite on the level yet of say a Moore or Blanchett, or they're extremely likely to win one of the categories that they're nominated in like Lange winning Supporting or Foxx winning leading. I keep saying this, but aside from the role Zellweger doesn't make a lot of sense to win a second Oscar, especially in leading, compared to Johansson, and even with Zellweger having a baity role, it's not like biopics are unbeatable like how Taran Egerton and Jonathan Pryce aren't in the running for the win this year and might both not even be nominated. I know that Judy is completely focused on Zellweger, and she does her own singing which actors love, but she'll likely be a lone nominee, and while Marriage Story isn't as strong as I thought it was going to be, it's still a lock for a Best Picture nomination and likely at least one win. There have been other winners from this decade that didn't come close to winning Best Picture like The Fighter and Dallas Buyers Club that still managed to win two acting awards, so I think it can happen this year too. I admit that I would predict Zellweger if money were on the line or something like that, but with all of the other acting categories looking like they're sewed up, imo, I think that Best Actress can be where there's a surprise. The Globes did love Zellweger at one time, so maybe they still do although she wasn't nominated for Bridget Jones's Baby by them, and they went for Lily Collins and Hailee Steinfeld over her despite BJB doing better at the box office than both Collins and Steinfeld's films, and having slightly better reviews than Rules Don't Apply. Also I know Marriage Story missed a key directors nomination with the Globes, but it still got the most nominations of any film, so that might be something else that helps Johansson. I'd feel more confident if Johansson had been double nominated at the Globes, but it doesn't seem they liked Jojo Rabbit that much only nominating it in Comedy/Musical probably because it will likely be nominated for BP. Yes they don't like to nominate children, but other than Roman Griffin Davis there wasn't a whole lot to choose from besides Will Smith in Aladdin, except they're also very reluctant to nominate Disney live action remakes even completely ignoring Beauty and the Beast despite it being a huge juggernaut at the box office and having room for Watson to in the lead actress category. I guess The Peanut Butter Falcon was too small, and they didn't watch it, or maybe it was too Americana for them. Plus I imagine some Globe voters thinking "why waste another nomination on Johansson when we can invite another star in her place?"

I predicted her as a BA winner instead of Driver as awfully early (yay me) - using the logic that a woman can win BA by sharing the spotlight, a man.........not so much usually, and Zellwegger isn't deserving of 2 wins as an actress/star to me.
Then I blew off Jojo's BP winning chances because to me it's not so much the crowd pleasing juggernaut it gets passed off as .....I still feel that way - it's 4th or 5th imo - and the acting in it isn't worthy of padding that pedestrian film's nomination total.
I'll say BA only...

I think she only gets in Lead, and wins.

Just for Best Actress. She's popular, but not that popular. Double acting nominations have only happened 11 times.

I'm going with double noms at this point. I've hesitated to predict her in Supporting but it seems like her competition is getting slimmer by the day. I'm still not entirely sure if after years of ignoring her they'll suddenly bestow two nominations in one go upon her but that field is so damn slim.

Only a leading nomination and she might win, although I predict Renee.

Best actress nomination only (and a win, but this is just a prediction now).

I'll say BA only... Definitely not, but tell that to Hilary Swank and Frances McDormand... What's interesting is that Zellweger would be only the fourth actress to get the Best Actress "upgrade" after winning in Supporting - Streep, Lange, and Blanchett being the other three. She's definitely not in that league if you ask me.
