Not to beat this into the ground but I said this (repeatedly) a long time ago, that 1917 is missing screenplay, acting and now editing obviously now clearly - it's not a BP winning threat in any logical way and it never really was. I'm sure I'll like it, but.....

Yeah, I think the BP win is not on the map for it although this was always more of a BD+techs contender if anything - these gimmicky tech showcases don't win BP these days. It's interesting that the one contender to make it to all the guilds so far (before SAG) is OUATIH. If it emerges as our actual BP frontrunner and wins the damn thing then I'll explode out of joy.
