As with last year, I decided to put this together just to see who's likely to see their name added to the august list of actors who have appeared in multiple BP winners. Obviously, some of these have a better chance at the top prize than others, but I thought I'd be a bit more inclusive this year.
1917: Benedict Cumberbatch (12 Years a Slave) Colin Firth (The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, The King's Speech)
The Farewell: None.
The Irishman: Robert De Niro (The Godfather: Part II, The Deer Hunter) Al Pacino (The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II) Jake Hoffman (Rain Man) Sebastián Maniscalco (Green Book)
Jojo Rabbit: None.
Joker: Joaquin Phoenix (Gladiator) Robert De Niro (The Godfather: Part II, The Deer Hunter) Bill Camp (12 Years a Slave, Birdman, or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance))
Knives Out: Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music) Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water) M. Emmet Walsh (Ordinary People)
Little Women: Meryl Streep (The Deer Hunter, Kramer vs. Kramer, Out of Africa)
Marriage Story: Merritt Wever (Birdman, or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance))
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, The Departed) Brad Pitt (12 Years a Slave) Nicholas Hammond (The Sound of Music) Scoot McNairy (Argo, 12 Years a Slave) Al Pacino (The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II) Kurt Russell (Forrest Gump)
Parasite: None.

It's so great that Big Al is in the 1 and 2 movies fighting it out for BP this year......now if only he had played Hitler in Jojo Rabbit and Aunt March in Little Women both of which he would be perfect for........

I've said this before, but if OUaTiH wins, DiCaprio will tie Dustin Hoffman as the only actor to have been top-billed in 3 Best Picture winners.
And if Tarantino wins Best Director, he will again tie Dustin Hoffman as having led 4 directors to their Best Director wins (though there may be other actors that have done this).
I think the top contenders right now are The Irishman, OUaTiH, 1917, and maybe Marriage Story. If either of the first two wins, a couple of actors will be jumping from 2 to 3.
