Fools.
Jennifer Lawrence's career is not over. I keep seeing that posted here, and you can't have been following movies long with that mentality. Julia, Sandra, Reese, Dunst, and Blanchett all bounced back after a period of a lull. Lawrence's projects have failed after The Hunger Games and David O. Russell movies which were successful movies based at least on the average audience, but she's making an attempt at getting back. You can argue she was more concerned with her personal life after 2015 and the movies she was in were just mediocre/irrelevant which was probably the main reason for what appears like a forgettable period.
Vs Margot Robbie........ Lawrence, easily. Although Robbie is an interesting celebrity to have around and her pics on the internet are extremely pleasing to look at. I think her best work is still not been seen yet, and same applies for Lawrence. But Lawrence stands out among the crowd, imo. She is who she is for a reason. I don't normally care for actresses under 45..... there's only a handful I like: Michelle Williams, Alicia Vikander, Emily Browning, Hailee Steinfeld and some that are escaping my mind are among the few I really care about.

I don't think anyone really thinks her career is over, but that mix of acclaimed/successful O. Russell movies with two big franchises (Hunger Games/X-Men) appears to be over, and was responsible for much of her fame and clout. Robbie has shown no issues getting major directors to hire her, frankly outdoing what most of us thought was going to happen, whereas Lawrence had quite a head start and seemed to do little with it. Robbie was literally a nobody on Pan Am when J-Law blew up. The big test will be the next 3 or so movies she does after Red White Water releases; does O. Russell's Canterbury Glass have a smooth release untorpedoed by his me-too issue and then hire J-Law and a stacked cast for that film's follow-up? Is the Sorrentino movie good? etc. Yes to those questions and she's back in the game for sure. Otherwise, she really could just sort of fade out for a while like Zellwegger did post-Cinderella Man.
