Piggybacking off of Good God's post, this thread is about the films that, if they win Best Picture, will add more names to this vaunted list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_actors_who_have_appeared_in_multiple_Best_Picture_Academy_Award_winners

Restricting this to what are seemingly the top contenders right now (and ignoring the *crickets*, for obvious reasons):
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood - Given Hanks's presence in Academy Award history, you'd have expected him to have starred in more than 1 Best Picture winner. That could change in the future and possibly even this year, but I feel like ABDitN needed to place in the Audience Poll at TIFF for it to really establish itself among the frontrunners. If it manages to do the unlikely, however, Hanks will have been in a more seemly 2 Best Picture winners.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - It's looking more and more like a top 3 contender, perhaps only clearly behind Marriage Story at the moment. A Best Picture win for it would mean DiCaprio joins Dustin Hoffman as the only actor to ever top-line 3 Best Picture winners. It'd also be the first time Brad Pitt leads a Best Picture winner. Pacino will have been in 3 Best Picture winners, but this would be his first as a Supporting actor.
The Irishman - The most pedigreed movie of the year, and also the biggest question mark. It could well go on to win Best Picture, but it could also miss altogether. But if it wins, it could bring up the tallies of both De Niro and Pacino to 3 in one fell swoop and have them match Jack Nicholson in that respect.

If 1917 wins, it'll also be Benedict Cumberbatch's second after 12 Years a Slave.
