Very simple premise. If you believe the statement is true, you say Buy. If you don't, then it's Sell.
Statement #1 - Beauty And The Beast will out gross The Jungle Book, Cinderella, and Maleficent for domestic gross. The Jungle Book received 364 million. Cinderella received 201 million. Maleficent grossed 264 million.
Statement #2 - The Jungle Book had an opening gross of 103 million. Beauty And The Beast will out gross that amount.
Statement #3 - Currently on the Tomatometer via RottenTomatoes, Beauty And The Beast is at 68%. It has been dropping. It used to be in the 70% range. The film will eventually turn rotten and stay rotten ala below 60%.
Statement #4 - It's no big deal that LeFou is gay. The religious right is making a big deal over nothing.
Statement #5 - Beauty And The Beast will receive more Oscar nominations than The Jungle Book (Won for Visual Effects. 1/1), Maleficent (Nominated for Best Costume Design, 0/1), and Cinderella (Nominated for Best Costume Design 0/1).
Statement #6 - I am planning on seeing the film before May 1st.

1. Buy. I'm feeling it'll easily surpass half a billion.
2. Buy.
3. Hmm... I think it'll hang around the mid- to-top-60s.
4. Both. It's a big deal in that an openly gay character is getting profile in a major Disney product, but the religious right are making a fuss over nothing.
5. Hmm... I think it'll get nods for Costumes and Production Design, maybe for Makeup as well. So buy.
6. I don't know when I'll see it.

Statement #1 - Buy.
Statement #2 - Buy.
Statement #3 - Nah. I say it stays above 60. But not by much (I'm calling 64)
Statement #4 - Echoing what Stephen said.
Statement #5 - Buy. Production Design and Costume Design look like safe bets. Hell, Original Song should be a good bet.
Statement #6 - Thursday night, baby!

1. Buy. 2. Buy. 3. Sell. Mid-60s seems right. 4. I'm with stephen on this one. It does matter that an unambiguously gay character is in a major Disney film, but any religious right fears of the "gay agenda corrupting the youth" or whatever are just silly. 5. Tentatively buy. I could see it just getting a Costumes nomination, but right now I'll say it'll get a Production Design nod. 6. Sell. I honestly don't plan on ever seeing it. Bill Condon doesn't interest me, it looks like a straight remake which doesn't make sense to me since a) the animated film is only 26 years old and b) live action dates faster than animation generally anyway so don't see what could be so "updated," and I already think that between Cocteau and the animated one that I've seen the best of Beauty and the Beast unless a really new take on the material is made.

Statement #5 - Sell. I don't see it being nominated.
Statement #6 - Sell. I might see it eventually, but I'm in no rush.

If another Doctor Strange situation happens, maybe. Personally, I have no interest in it.
