Che (2008.... Soderbergh) Two of the most lifeless films I've ever watched. It still baffles me that Soderbergh was behind them.

I'm starting to think Spring Breakers is better than Gummo. Rewatched Gummo. There was once a time I thought people who called Spring Breakers his best just hasn't seen any other Korine, but I think I might have a new tune now.
Gummo defines Korine more, no doubt about it. But Spring Breakers has that sort of Woodstock image of a modern society in decadence that I care about more than Korine's castaway society in Gummo full of weird, dilapidated people. It reminds me more of Kubrick than Herzog with its unintentional weirdness, not so much nihilistic like Herzog.
Also, Julien Donkey Boy has a very raw feel even though it may be a bit less overall enjoyable.
