But where is even good anymore? Yeah... There is no such thing as the "perfect place," unfortunately. My bed with my cats is the best. Hate leaving it.

It's really bad now. Though aspects always were. The parks are full of homeless families in tents. Huge convoy supporters and massive racism in my area which I got to see firsthand at counter protests. People are dying in the emergency room because our hospitals are overrun and short-staffed. Our union is about to strike but I'm on another stress leave. I will never own a home. I can't afford to drive to work. It's exhausting going to therapy when nobody else does. I've had to cut all my family out of my life... I have two important friends which is the only thing keeping me here. No, I do not like where I live. But where is even good anymore? as someone who seriously idealizes Canada, this is so discouraging to hear.

A lot of people joke that Canada is America in the 80s or a couple years behind, it's truly horrific.
