Hey all, let's make this weekly thread, what movies did you see last week? Here are my films I saw:
Tomb Raider (1996) (game) 10/10 - My dream came true. I finally played the original version of Tomb Raider, I waited to play it in very, very long time.
Fences (2016) 5/10 - They are talking too much about not much of anything. Nothing interesting about it at all!
Logan (2017) 9.5/10 - It's bloody awesome, but the only problem about this movie is the villain because he wasn't great or even that memorable.
Children of a Lesser God (1986) 7.5/10 - Nice movie! The youngest Oscar winner for Best Actress and the first deaf person to win. I feel glad for it!
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) 6.5/10 - As a big fan of the games, it doesn't really feel like the game (maybe a bit). It's midly enjoyable, but I didn't like the editing. Angelina Jolie was annoying when she makes a proud face though.
Suicide Squad (2016) 9/10 (rewatch with Extended Cut) - I hated it on first viewing, but since it's a Oscar winning film, I decided to watch it again what's going on. And then I watched it again, I absolutely loved it! Jk, I liked it a bit less. Motorcycle scene is amazing, best scene of the film. I wish it has more blood, lights and action scenes to be stronger, but it's still pretty cool movie anyway.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) 9/10Yes! I freaking love that movie. Overall Thoughts? Such a winner. It was filled with the kind of dark and offbeat humour that I love. It had so many moments of warmth and heart, but I felt like it earned those moments, rather than just having them shoehorned in. The chemistry between Dennison and Neil was so, so good. I wonder if was improvised in parts, because it was all so natural between them that at times it felt like it. I also have to give Rachel House props for stealing the show. Also, I think this has to be one of my contenders for line of the year: "It was a relaxing song... and a relaxing sausage."

The BFG (2016) -- I want to like this movie much more. It's the kind of sweet, Ghibli-esque entertainment I keep wishing for in today's kids' movies. But the third act is total shit, the humor comes off as too forced, a whole hour could have been cut without losing anything from the plot, and the little plot that is there meanders far too much. It's a mess. I don't hate it. I really liked the tone of the movie. It's just a poor movie using that tone and style. 5/10
Pete's Dragon (2016) -- Disney finally got it right. This movie nails the style that The BFG attempted to reach for. It still suffers from a meandering, poorly put-together plot, but Lowery pulled this one off. Definitely looking forward to his follow-up projects. Oh, and Robert Redford continues to be perfect in everything he's in. 7/10
Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World (2016) -- The textbook definition of biting off more than you can chew. This should be a 20 hour documentary, not a 100 minute, randomly assembled blurb. There are a few fascinating interviews, but they are overshadowed by people who enjoy talking about themselves too much (Heeeeello, Mr. Mitnick) and many, many segments that go nowhere and have no discernible goal in mind. 4/10

I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore Gilda Green Room (re-watch) Logan I am thinking to re-watch Green Room too, but only because of Imogen Poots. She gave one of the best performances in supporting role of 2016.

Yeah, I didn't like that film either. I found the Joker pretty annoying when he smiles.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall And, what are your thoughts on this one? I watched it because of Mila Kunis, I thought she was going to play a villain character, but I'm glad she didn't. She was cool and sweet!

She was cool and sweet! I think it's fantastic. Great version of a rom com. Siegal and Kunis have great chemistry. Brand steals all of his scenes (really the only thing I like him in). Hader, Rudd, and Hill were great in smaller roles. And i like thye gave Bell her scene about how much effort she put into the relationship because it helped paint her as a real person and not just a one-dimenional antagonist. Great and hikarious movie overall.
