I don't understand. He says that cinema is dead, then says that cinema has been resurrected through streaming and the digital media, and then goes on to declare that television is dead?

I think he's saying that the way we watch TV is dead and ain't coming back, but movies in theaters can and will make a resurgence. I think. Who the hell knows.

I can see what he's saying (while not necessarily endorsing it) and I do agree with him in that cinema in the classic sense is, if not dead, at least on its way out. As home entertainment system capabilities grow, the viewing experience will be much more personal in the future, which might start encroaching on "experience" movies. But cinema as an art form is very much alive. And bickering about the delivery method is indeed ridiculous.
All of this is just Refn's way of advertising his website, anyway.
