I’m here for this. While I’m sure it will still have some tropes and formulaic beats, it’s refreshing to see something fresh and different in the MCU.

hmmmm... the more dialogue I hear, the more skeptical I become The exposition seems really on-the-nose, but I think they're trying to force this into the trailer because of butthurt fanboys saying wHy DiDn'T tHeY sToP tHaNoS? The character interactions sound like they could be good. After that teaser, I'm trying to keep myself open to this, because I've never been excited for Marvel before and I don't want the feeling to fade.

This looks like a generic and bland, bad, big budget sci-fi movie of the 21st century but with the Marvel name attached to it

Parts of it looks good, others bad. I think critics will be more kind to the film than audiences, even though I think it will do decent business.

bump I caught a 30 second tv spot for this during the Sunday night NFL game on NBC and I gotta say it doesn't give me much confidence in this film being good to great. The cast is loaded with talented actors/actresses but it looks like it's going to have the same problems that many of the previous MCU films had to deal with. The more dialogue I hear from this film the more it makes me worry. Richard Madden is an awesome actor but when he casually says "Eternals assemble" I just cringed and rolled my eyes. I bet Feige & Marvel thought that was such a clever line too Also is it just me or has the cgi in these MCU films gotten worse? The cgi in the tv spot for this looks cheap & unfinished. I don't know just an observation. I hope this is at least decent because I'd hate for a loaded ensemble cast go to waste.

The Lord heard my prayers. Glad this isn't another Black Panther situation.

Someone check on Bruinjoe. Between this and Black Widow and the chinese movie no one saw this has been a terrible year for Marvel. Disney+ isn't even profitable

It's now Marvel first Rotten movie. Haven't seen yet, of course, but seems too many characters and concepts to introduce at once.

These mixed and negative reviews are making me excited, because they're exactly what I was looking for when I saw that teaser trailer. It looks like following ten characters was too much ambition for a movie that also needs action fight scenes, but at least this has ambition. Never been more hyped for an MCU joint.
