Anyone else catch the prologue yet? As much as the trailer is great, the prologue is a completely different animal. It’s up there with TDK in terms of tension, pacing, ambiguity and all around fantastic direction. Ludwig Göransson‘s score is unbelievably pulsating as well. This is probably Nolan’s trickiest sell yet what with the sci-fi elements that are present and blink and you’ll miss it sequences. But it just leaves you wanting so much more. Much as I like Nolan, you get the feeling that this will be more ambiguous and have a little less exposition than some of his earlier films? Because that was one of my favorite aspects of Dunkirk that it was light on obvious dialogue.

Not sure if anyone noticed this in the trailer, but the shot of Clémence Poésy looks clearly set in the past: rotary telephone, old school device that looks like an oscilloscope or voltmeter, old school lamp, paper lab notebook...

Holy crap. That’s interesting. Why don’t we have videos of people endlessly speculating about this rather than the next Marvel or Star Wars film?

Christopher Nolan, CBE Nolan is always looking so dapper. I've literally never seen the man in a t shirt (he's usually always wearing a suit) lol

Only here for Debicki tbh. The teaser looks about as original as Inception 2.0.

Good video... you might have to pause and replay parts of it to get what it's showing because it goes by pretty quickly, but this a pretty solid speculative account of the film's time reversal concept based on what we've seen so far. For those who haven't seen the prologue, the video also uses Ludwig Göransson's music from that.

Only here for Debicki tbh. The teaser looks about as original as Inception 2.0. It’s definitely not just an “Inception 2.0”. Watch the prologue if you can, it really demonstrates the overall tone of the film quite brilliantly. Nolan has pretty much brought all the memorable facets of his best and most industrious work into one; beautifully crafted action set pieces, gorgeous cinematography, precise editing and a sublime score. He’s also building upon career best direction from Dunkirk and implementing the same sort of approach for T E N Ǝ T on a much grander scale but also with the most complex narrative he’s ever written. If the rest of the film is executed as expertly and imbued with the same amount of palpable tension the prologue carries in spades, then we’re in for an absolute fucking treat.

Well, it's Nolan so it's nearly guaranteed to make a profit. His last three originals made: Inception - $800M+ [5x its budget] Interstellar - $650M+[4x its budget] Dunkirk - $500M+ [3-5x its budget (with no real stars, might I add)] So, I guess, we'll just see now. Won't we?

One more New decade, new stars! do you think Washington will take Hardy's place? Nah, I think it’s more likely that Nolan puts both Hardy and Washington in a film together!

It seems that the footage of JDW inspecting the bullet holes was specially shot for the teaser back in August and is not in the actual film (though we do see another version of that scene with both JDW and Pattinson at the end of the full trailer).
