Ugh...AMC and Regal not including it in the BP festival where you pay $35 to see all movies.

I don't have Netflix anymore because I have Amazon Prime, and most of the time I have the problem of not being able to decide what to watch. That's why I like AMC A-List because I only have a limited number of choices, and I will pay attention because it's in a theater not at home. Maybe should I resubscribe now though because I've seen all of the nominees except Roma?
One of the local arthouse theaters is showing Roma in 70MM this weekend, but it's $15 for all tickets even matinees. At first I thought about it, but then I changed my mind because I have to drive to the OSU campus, find parking and pay for that too, and fight whatever winter weather there might be. Now I think I should see it though.

Now I think I should see it though. I would literally pay a hundred dollars for one ticket to see Roma in 70mm. Even if you end up not liking the film, at least you'd see it the way it was meant to be seen (the scope is quite epic in some sequences), in a format that the vast majority of moviegoers won't be privileged enough to experience. It's my favorite of the year so obviously I'm biased, but if my vote counts for anything I'll say it's definitely worth trudging through the weather to see. I bet the sound alone would be worth the ticket price.

Yeah, it's a shame that Roma will miss out on the BP festival for the rest of the public over licensing and theatrical window reasons.

You can see all the nominees in theaters, but the winner? No way Jose! You’re gonna have to watch that at home!

Adding insult to injury, Day One is only showing three movies, but charging the same price as Day Two with four.
