That guy seems to be the go to actor for complete douche bag roles these days. With his supremely punchable face, what else could he do?

Apparently Noah is no longer attached to this project and..... Fennell? Great so the dialogue is gonna be preachy and SJW-ish 🙄

Apparently Noah is no longer attached to this project and..... It's just some random dude's account. The Hollywood Reporter article still mentions Gerwig and Baumbach as writers, and I didn't find any info about Fennell joining the project.

Gosling is gonna have a lot of fun with his role as Ken imo (I love it when he lets loose in a comedic role like The Nice Guys, Crazy Stupid Love) Gosling has always been good to great in serious dramatic roles but I also think that his comedic timing is impressive & doesn't get enough love.

Comedic Ryan Gosling (The Nice Guys) >>>>>> Dramatic Ryan Gosling.

Comedic Ryan Gosling (The Nice Guys) >>>>>> Dramatic Ryan Gosling. I disagree, but he is ambidextrous. First Man, The Believer, Fracture, (parts of Blue Valentine) are first-rate dramatic work, if mostly underseen/underappreciated. But I agree that he's great at comedy despite not needing to tap into it all the time; shares that with Leo.

Comes out same weekend as Oppenheimer. Nolan running scared yet? Just adding this disclaimer. I’m not actually serious about that, even if I don’t need to specify. Hell, I’m gonna see both movies, very likely.

I feel like this movie has a 50/50 chance of being decent or a complete disaster. Large ensemble full of stars doesn’t always translate to quality movie.
Also this is prob unpopular but Ryan Gosling’s face is kinda weird looking to be Ken, who’s supposed to a hunk. Henry Cavill should’ve been cast bc he is the epitome of a guy who’s so handsome he looks like a Ken doll

Comes out same weekend as Oppenheimer. Looks like WB is trolling Nolan.

I actually think it’s smart to open it against Oppenheimer as I don’t think there’s a huge overlap in audiences for both films.

I actually think it’s smart to open it against Oppenheimer as I don’t think there’s a huge overlap in audiences for both films. Tenet in the midst of the least theater-going like ever still made $363m worldwide despite a soft opening. Dunkirk opened to $50m, and barely had a plot. Gerwig's very capable of making something with high commercial prospects, but this isn't James Cameron directing Barbie featuring young Julia Roberts and Leo DiCaprio. Stepping up to Nolan unless you're the MCU or James Cameron is pretty wild.

I'm still so curious about this movie. Look at the talent involved and Margot Robbie has said, "Whatever, you're thinking, it's not that." I can't wait for this trailer.
