Relatively speaking, obviously. It seems like a lot of people thought it'd be just a lot of Trump bashing in all of the speeches, but he was largely ignored. It was mostly just a couple quick jokes by Kimmel (plus the bigger tweeting joke) and Asghar Farhadi's speech. After SAG, the Golden Globes, and even the Spirit Awards, I was shocked by how tame the Oscars was in comparison.
