I'm gonna have to rewatch this movie, I've been thinking about it since Jango began talking about Confessions

I listened to Nevermind last night and I still like In Utero more. Its something about All Apologies being the final song of the album that is so perfect.

Hell yeah, JangoB . This one's been my favorite: It is indeed excellent but nothing tops the album opener for me. I'm SO putting that one in a movie if I ever get to make one. And if I get the rights

I'd frequently heard it claimed that a lot of the 60's garage rock bands pretty much sounded like first wave punk bands live but had never really heard an example of that. That is absolutely the case here, it's presumably from the mid 60's but sounds like it could be from 76/77. Can't believe how loud they were for the time. If you'd heard this performance at the time it would have had to have blown all the mid-tempo "classic rock" type stuff that dominated on the radio out of the water. Much like how people felt about the Ramones and Sex Pistols although those were their recordings too and not just live.

By the way The Monks are a band that was a good example of that too if people are curious .........although they're more downright weird ........

b-side on the first single from Larry Williams, 1957 - he was 21y/o , the label's substitute after Little Richard left.
