Well I'm for legalizing all drugs. I definitely don't think people should go to jail for drugs. Of course they should go for crimes they commit to obtain their drugs (robbery, assault), but not for doing them. There are only two genders. I'm not saying that, but I did see that there are 58 genders now. A bit excessive, no?

Communism and Christianity are pretty compatible. Have you read Erich Fromm's books aswell (particularly To be or to Have)? He constantly draws comparisons between both (or at least communism and Jesus and early christians, not so much the catholic church).

on the topic of gender, I wouldn't have a problem with all (or at least most) bathrooms became unisex. One obvious advantage is that parents could go in with their children instead of waiting outside. perhaps the concept of gender should be scrapped altogether.

I don’t think this is too controversial, but there are too many people that share the same ideology as me that give too much of a pass to the Islam religion. I’m against all religions (some more than others), but yeah, Islam is the most threatening as of right now.

I think a fasle presumption of what communism really is has been established nowadays. The ultimate goal of communism is the common ownership of the means of production, which means that the means of production belong to the people who work them. Now how's that a bad or stupid thing? It definitely doesn't sound as such to me. True communism has never been established. All the so called "communist" countries were either dictatorships or oligarchies, as all the means of production belonged to "The Party" which consisted of a small group of people who didn't even work them, and that contradicts the basic ideology of communism. Communism requires democracy to work, as all decisions require collective choices to be made. The only country in history that tried to establish true communism was Chile during Salvador Allende's reign, but he never managed to finish his work, since he was overthrown by Augusto Pinochet. The ultimate goal of communism is the common ownership of the means of production, which means that the means of production belong to the people who work them. Now how's that a bad or stupid thing?Haven't you ever heard of 'you're only as fast as you're slowest teammate'? A lot of people won't be as productive as others and won't be able to keep up. This sort of thing led to food shortages and I think Adam Smith had it right. Also where do these people get the capital to run the production? It's definitely a stupid and bad idea. True communism has never been established.Because your so called utopia communist society is impossible as long as human nature remains as it is. People inherently want more than they have, they want a better life for their children and it's impossible to create wealth in this form of society. The only way for this system to work is if everybody existed in a hive mind with the exact same goals. It's basically the Borg from Star Trek and I'm sure you're capable of understanding how bad that is. All the so called "communist" countries were either dictatorships or oligarchies, as all the means of production belonged to "The Party" which consisted of a small group of people who didn't even work them, and that contradicts the basic ideology of communism.
That's because dissidence is the end of your stupid system which forces there to be a central government making everyone comply with the system hence all the camps. Communism requires democracy to work, as all decisions require collective choices to be made.Democracy in itself isn't a good system. It's nothing but mob rule and every country on the planet is not a democracy because they understand that. It's a good thing that the likes of the US is a representative republic because allowing the people to choose their own rights would be an utter disaster. The only country in history that tried to establish true communism was Chile during Salvador Allende's reign, but he never managed to finish his work, since he was overthrown by Augusto Pinochet.
Yeah the guy who broke every law just for his own beliefs. Hell he nationalized most things which goes against your version of communism.

There's nothing offensive about burning a flag. Then there's nothing offensive about burning books and I think a lot of Jews might disagree.

Ahh yes, the old "prepare for the worst" justification. First illegal guns would be much harder to acquire if manufacturers were regulated. Manufacturers are at the heart of America's gun problem. And pepper spray is effective at 6 to 8 feet away from the target, so you're about as safe facing multiple or larger assailants with pepper spray than with a gun. Also, pepper spray is much more affordable and accessible to average citizens, and much more convenient to carry. Even if you can make the argument that more guns = more safety, you can't explain away the fact that hundreds of thousands of citizens won't have the inclination or time to purchase a gun and learn how to use it, and making firearms easier to acquire for everyone also means it's easier for unstable and dangerous individuals like Omar Mateen or Kevin James Loibl to legally purchase weapons with the intention of killing innocent people. Gun laws are fairly lax in Orlando, but Mateen didn't meet a barrage of bullets from good guys with guns. That's why to the gun rights advocates, those kinds of tragedies can only be explained away through victim blaming. Don't you always bitch on about believing every woman who says she was raped. What about those women who were and could have prevented it if they had a gun to defend themselves. Also you clearly don't understand the actual reason the 2nd Amendment exists is to check government power and prevent a tyrannical government forming.

The only way for this system to work is if everybody existed in a hive mind with the exact same goals. It's basically the Borg from Star Trek and I'm sure you're capable of understanding how bad that is. I agree with this. I actually mentioned the same thing in another post I made in this thread after the one you replied to, that communism sounds like a good system in theory, but as long as individuals put their own personal interests above the ones of the community (as has been happening since the beggining of human civilization) it obviously won't work. As for everything else you've stated, I, for the most part, share the same opinion, with two reservations. As for the representative republic system you state as better than the democratic one, in that you just vote for others to make the decisions for you. Who's to say that they will serve the needs of their voters and not their self-interests? There are countless examples where politicians have promised certain stuff before they were elected, but afterwards did the exact opposite. So, the human factor does play a role there too. The only positive is that the decisions are made by fewer people. Actually there is an example where a democratic sytem was effectively applied, but that was from 2500 years ago and in a society much more closed and with few citizens (I'm talking about ancient Athens, you can read about it if you like. I'm certain you'll find it interesting). If applied in a country with tens of millions of citizens it definitely won't be effective at all. As for Allende, again you have a point, but there is a big difference between him and every other "communist" leader: he actually gave ownership of the means of production to the workers. But it failed, mainly because of the points you make in your first paragraph and lack of efficient organization. Chlie's economy took a nosedive and a coop followed. But that doesn't mean that every company or industry run by the workers will automatically fail. There are many examples of cooperative associations that were extremely productive. Anyway, communism, or any other economic theory or system, is obviously a very complex matter and shouldn't be treated like black and white.

That's because they're Swiss. Cowardly and uninteresting. Imagine the American populace deciding their own laws.
