Supporting Actor and Visual Effects aside, I am digging these wins. Hoping the quality holds out for the biggies.

Solid Original Screenplay winner, even if I think it's a mite overrated. Adapted winner is baller.

Colman, Dunst and especially Mara would be better, but I'll take it.

DUJARDIN WAS ROBBED. Y'all went and picked the middle of the pack in both lead categories.
Still, better than Fassbender/Theron or Clooney/Davis, which I was afraid would happen.

Well, I'll take that at least. Favorite winner: Sareh Bayat (although I didn't vote for her) Worst winner: None of them are horrible, but so many are just I guess the middling Tilda Swinton.

Okay I love The Tree of Life but tf is that Brad Pitt win? There were at least a few people on the old board who put Pitt in ToL in their all time top 10 or something... I thought that weird shit was done with.

I thought that weird shit was done with. What the hell... That's just mind-boggling. Don't get me wrong, Pitt is fantastic in the role, but that kind of praise is just crazy-talk. I wouldn't even say it's among Pitt's own three best performances.

Drive over Tree of Life and Separation very suspicious, did Stephen bribe you? I know you're joking, but if it helps, I definitely would have preferred either of those over Drive.
