Drug possession and personal use should be decriminalized. Idk about full legalization, I see the moral/philosophical argument for it but I still err on the side of enforcing drug use as a public health issue. Our budget isn't set to handle that, though.

No honey, love is a drug and look how people abuse that... especially when they don't pay for it.
Maybe in a controlled environment...

Gonna drop my opinion on this.
The federal government has no right to determine the legal status of drugs. Leave it up to the states to decide whether they want to legalize drugs or not. My only concern with legalization is that this will result in the drugs being regulated and taxed and I don't want any regulations or taxes. Also, abolish the DEA.

Actually, if we legalize drugs, they'll be more expensive to get a hold of because pharmacies/insurance will jack up the prices and taxation will be immense, thus solving our drug problem with one swift stroke!
God, I'm good.

As you are talking about the USA, drugs should pass the FDA check just like medicines do. This means a long list of tests and evaluation of side effects before they'll get approved. As FDA rejects lots of medicines that are approved in other countries, I seriously doubt they'll approve drugs.
