That is a pretty out there selection of films, man. Would've expected more Godard (not picking Contempt for '63 ). Although I noticed you specify these aren't necessarily the best of the year, so I'm guessing you're mostly trying to highlight the very obscure stuff? I don't really see how a "canon" would differ from a "favorites" list otherwise.
