Jo Van Fleet in "Cool Hand Luke" immediately came to mind.

Beatty Should've got that Oscar.

Beatty Should've got that Oscar. I feel like if one film ever deserved to have all the acting Oscars, this is probably the one. Especially since you had depth on the categories. Had it been Dunaway, Holden, Warfield and Duvall winning the awards, it would have been just as good a foursome.

He comes in second in my rankings, just behind Beatty. I only give Beatty the edge because that's my favorite scene in the movie.

PSH in Hard Eight.........Rourke in The Pledge......Nina Arianda isn't in The Humbling much but she's a riot and the best female in the cast with Greta Gerwig, Diane Wiest, Kyra Sedgwick .......... Arianda is so good in that.

Linda Bright Clay is my win for Seven Psychopaths and the length of her appearance (five minutes?) is astounding because she left an incredible impression on me and is sorely missed when she's off screen.
I'll also add Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross.

Watched Next Stop, Greenwich Village last night and Jeff Goldblum was hilarious as an asshole actor in like two scenes.

Geraldine Page in The Pope of Greenwich Village.
I am not particularly a Page fan, but she was dynamite in this.

Park Hee-soon in The Age of Shadows. Only in the opening scene, but the weight of his character/performance subtly hangs over the rest of the film.

I've been dying to watch this for so long but I can't find it anywhere. It's on the website dramacool.ee with English subs....though the quality could be better.
