I wondered about the same thing yesterday. I could have sworn he won one at one point I saw the bad and the beautiful the other day,and he was superb in it! got me thinking why he never won oscar? He was one of top hollywood stars, a skilled actor and most of his films were oscar-oriented films! He's such an underrated actor. I don't think he even won an Honorary Oscar…. Very strange indeed. His son already got 2.
