I can't get enough of that Disturbed cover of Sound of Silence, ibbi . When I first heard about it I thought it sounded ridiculous, but then I actually heard it, my jaw dropped, and I've been in love ever since. I think it's just about as wonderful as the original.

I wouldn't say this is my favorite, but I wanted to acknowledge Julie London's cover of The Doors' "Light My Fire." I'm loving it. I think I love it more than the original!

I wouldn't say this is my favorite, but I wanted to acknowledge Julie London's cover of The Doors' "Light My Fire." I'm loving it. I think I love it more than the original! That's pretty groovy. and sexy! I previously said Dusty Springfield has the sexist singing voice ever, and someone countered that with Julie London deserving that title. Although Dusty has the stronger vocals, I have to retract my statement. Julie London has the sexiest voice! I've been listening to more of her lately. I like her style. When it comes to certain great songs, I like hearing singers with some restraint. Singers who don't oversing.

I've been in love with this since that amazing scene in Sons of Anarchy Season 7. It would probably be my favourite cover song ever, but they kinda blew the operatic section.

Been playing this one a lot lately. The way she sings "til your singing eyes..." *sigh* It's the perfect example of perhaps my favorite music style. David Lynch even said it influenced his music with Julee Cruise.

When they play this song live, it reminds me why I love rock music.

Maybe the best band to emerge in the 00s, and among the great "one and done" bands - 1 album and tragically dead - fnck. Covering the Paul Collins Beat song.....

Legend covering legend and listening to the way Noel wrings every drop of meaning out of this song. This is a tremendous vocal.....
