Good for her. Looks like his no show was a sign of disrespect and his voters didn't like that.

Also, look at the polls. Majority of American people are for ending the wars, implementing universal healthcare, having free education, getting money out of politics, raising the minimum wage, moving towards a renewable future, focusing on infrastructure, and legalizing marijuana. All core policies that Ocasio-Cortez ran on. So if she’s a commie, so are the majority of Americans.

Even if that's true and it isn't, there's a reason why you don't let the people control what laws are implemented. It's because they're fucking stupid. It's a good thing it's not a democracy.

All I’m saying is that if you’re calling Ocaiso-Cortez a communist, than you must think that majority of the American people are commie’S as well. Which is an absurd statement. Ocasio-Cortez didn’t win because her opponent was far too confident (you clearly didn’t follow the race since you made that statement lol). She won because she ran on policies that are popular with the people. An agenda that’s not like the typical corporate agenda.

She just really has laid out a Republican strategy to run on in 2020 in that Amazon deal gone haywire. What populist people want is jobs - the Unemployment rate is basically hovering under 4 - that's full employment, you can't argue against creating jobs like that now, come on wtf.
A real baffling move with lots of quotes that are going to come back to haunt the Dems - a crucial mistake here with ramifications coming that exactly plays into the hands of your opponent. It's a real disregard toward real people, real problems, the exact opposite of the party's goals. You need a center candidate in this party badly like ............now.

I agree, she really made a bad move torpedoing the Amazon deal. 25,000 jobs is nothing to scoff at and she’s really off base that they can spend the 3b tax subsidy as if it’s just extra money they now have. Generally like her but this was not smart.

Need a center candidate in this party? What? Castro, Booker, Klobuchar, Gillibrand, Harris, and Biden if he runs are all centrist candidates. Now some of these candidates are more to the left than others to a certain degree, but they’re all corporate democrats. Guess what happened last time a corporate democrat ran against one of the most unfavourable candidates of all time? They lost. Running to the center has failed. It’s not the 90’s anymore. Here’s a centrist candidate.. lol.

You've just seen the complete collapse of a very left wing country in South America. The Labour party in Britain is falling literally apart. People make Trump out to be some far right politician when he's very centrist on a lot of things. The extremes don't win anymore and you're suggesting some idiot socialists. Tulsi Gabbard is a good choice for the Democrats. She's not very left wing and she's a soldier who's willing to criticise her own party.

How many people support Medicare for all? How many people support raising taxes on the rich and that 70% marginal tax rate? How many people supported that green new deal? How many people support the legalization of marijuana? How many people support raising the minimum wage? How many people support putting an end to the wars? Look at all of the data and the numbers of people that support these positions. List those sources and link them for me. I guarantee you not one of them will have minority support. Also, Tulsi Gabbard is my favorite candidate that’s running at the moment. I even said that she has the best chance at beating Trump before anyone else was talking about her on here. Can look at my thread. I’m not rooting for socialist candidates by the way. They’re social democrats for the 837383th time. This argument of yours has been disproven time and time again, yet you keep saying it.

So who wins when a politician runs on those policies vs a politician who doesn’t? Nah. She already said she likes the idea of socialism and capitalism coexisting.

Well Bernie didn't win, Corbyn didn't win. Even Democrats are laughing at the Green New Deal. Also you're fooling yourself if you think she likes capitalism. She basically celebrated when Amazon said they weren't setting up in New York.

My whole argument when I made that post today was that running a centrist candidate won’t allow the democrats to win. Clinton didn’t win. It’s pretty much universally agreed upon that Bernie would’ve won. Oh yeah, let’s also just leave out the fact that the DNC admitted to rigging the primary and the media kneecaping him every chance they got. Not like that didn’t have anything to do with it. Corbyn and Bernie exceeded everyones expectations by the way and Bernie is now the most popular politician in America sooooo. Using corporate democrat politician positions as an argument? Lol. They also laugh at medicare for all. And? She flat out said she believes they can both coexist in an interview just a week ago.

Universally agreed by who? Even if Clinton didn't have the DNC in her pocket, that doesn't mean she wouldn't have won the primaries. She's much more of a name than Sanders. Also we have no idea how he would've done against a loose canon like Trump.
Corporate Democrat? Most left leaning people would agree more with these people's positions. Most people prefer a market economy and yet you just pretend they don't exist or are irrelevant.
Yeah keep thinking she believes that. You're strangely naive.
