Since we're talking about And Then There Were None... the mini series was pretty good (from 5-ish years ago). My only gripe was the ending... but then again, I never read the book.

How did the miniseries end? The book's epilogue was perhaps a tad unwieldy, but I don't know how else Christie could have gone about it.

It was the whole reveal of what had actually happened that bugged me. I just couldn't buy into it.

Kenneth doesn't have much time to learn a pagan ritual to resurrect Christopher Plummer in order to reshoot the role.

Kenneth doesn't have much time to learn a pagan ritual to resurrect Christopher Plummer in order to reshoot the role. Had they listened to the general public who has been trying to figure out why they shoved him down our throats in the first place...no voodoo magic would be needed. The irony is that his real-life persona fits the character.

They should've released this in 2020 or they're better off reshooting, because if this is faithful to the book and original film, I can't see anyone accepting Armie Hammer murdering Wonder Woman on-screen

Idk why Branagh is so insistent on butchering these whodunnit classics.

Idk why Branagh is so insistent on butchering these whodunnit classics. Orient Express made $350M. I know, I was shocked too.

Making it even more mind boggling. It came out a week after Thor: Ragnarok and a week before Justice League.

Dear Mr Branagh , please replace Armie with either Michael Fassbender or Matthias Schoenaerts. Thanks in advance.

I’m guessing that unless the Hammer stuff somehow loses steam, this will get quietly released on Hulu and Disney will chalk it up as a loss,

People familiar with the story understand why it is impossible to reshoot this movie.

Kenneth Branagh - who won't be directing Denzel Washington in King Lear weirdos - because you know, Branagh wants to play King Lear (duh) - that was a funny thread we had recently - and by funny I mean wrong - starts his great week (lots of Belfast nods?) / awful week (lots of Belfast snubs?) with a 67% on RT.....off 39 reviews www.rottentomatoes.com/m/death_on_the_nile_2022

My girl Emma Mackey is in this and the reviews are good for her performance so I'm definitely watching it. It can't touch the original masterpiece of course (I mean what can?! It had Smith + Bette + Lansbury!!!).
