Foxcatcher's makeup is my least favorite nomination so far. It could have been Theory of Everything That would've been preferable, actually.

Foxcatcher's makeup is my least favorite nomination so far. It could have been Theory of Everything That film actually has pretty damn good makeup, it's the actor that's under it that I take issue with.

Really disagree with Anderson here. I thought that actually brought the movie down, because it seemed like there was so much from that book (I’m going off assumption, I haven’t read it) that he refused to trim down or part with.
And why does no one remember The Babadook?

And why does no one remember The Babadook? Anderson perfectly captured Pynchon's hazy, loopy atmosphere. That byzantine density is exactly what the film required. And I remember The Babadook . . . because it's shit.
