The first two seasons were pretty good but the third felt it was going nowhere but ended on a banger. Great ending. So yeah, it piqued my interest again. Also isn't Kendall supposed to be the protagonist/lead right? if so i have not seen a more uninteresting lead than this guy in tv in ages.
Great performances from the cast. All of them uniformly good although sometimes some shine better than the others.

binged through the first season in just a a couple of days around a week ago (haven't started the second season yet) but wow, loved almost everything about it. can see why this has been getting raved.
wasn't the biggest fan of the ending of the first season but i've heard that the show only gets better so i'll trust what the show runners are doing.

That feels like a gut-punch, but I also really respect Armstrong for knowing when it's time to stop. The show has been so incredibly strong year in year out, it would be such a shame to watch it go on past its expiration date, as so many shows do. It seems a bit strange that it wasn't advertised as the final season from the start, but maybe they just had to negotiate and confirm it with HBO first?

You don't get that vibe at all in S3 that the story was coming to an end. I feel like they could've gone for another 2-3 seasons at least.

Didn't Cox give an interview last year where he said he thought they had 1 or 2 seasons left at most? He's not an authority, obviously, but he must have known the end was in sight. I would guess HBO saving the cash for dragons and zombies might have factored into this, whether he admits it or not. They are part of that ruthless new WBD empire that has fucking slayed everything over the past year.

Excited but also a little bummed that this is closing curtains at the fourth season.

I hope they don't just rush to quickly wrap things up or leave a bunch of cliffhangers that will never be answered or plotholes in the last episode. Hopefully it'll be organic, even if the season doesn't play out to seem like it's leading to a series finale.

Tricky situation. I wouldn't know how to react in her position.

i’m sure the season will be great, but with what the cast has been saying, my confidence of the finale NOT feeling undercooked is getting lower and lower

i’m sure the season will be great, but with what the cast has been saying, my confidence of the finale NOT feeling undercooked is getting lower and lower Love the show, but realistically where else could it go without spinning its wheels? There's only so many times they can pull game-changing twists like in the finales for season 2 and 3 before people start to feel led on, which to be fair, with respect to how great Kendall's press conference was as a moment, honestly it proved less significant than expected. Logically, now that Tom and Greg have aligned with Logan, the show is firmly set for its end-game. No shit Culkin would say that, the show gives him a massive paycheck and he's received three Emmy nominations, so he understandably doesn't want it to end. This isn't a Deadwood situation.

Good premiere. Highlights include Greg and his wacky tobacky date, Logan reflecting on mortality with best pal Colin, Frank roasting the hard old nut Logan. They effectively lean into the weirdness of the siblings being so chummy - together they can finally succeed, but to what end. Congratulations on saying the highest number, you fucking morons.
Promises a more melancholy, even introspective final season ... but with the familiar bite still intact.
