Alicia Vikander in Ex Machina. I'm sure most will have her in supporting, but I feel she's so much of the film's focus that you could make a convincing argument for her being lead.

Also, more importantly, Dano and Cusack in Love & Mercy. They. Are. Not. Supporting.

Kalieaswari Srinivasan - Dheepan
The most obvious one for me, although I'm likely to be the only one considering throwing her a vote.

Kurt Russell, The Hateful Eight (I assume everyone is supporting outside of SLJ)
Rebecca Ferguson, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (I assume supporting, but this is one of those "leading female in a supporting role" that tends to be on the fence)

Kurt Russell, The Hateful Eight (I assume everyone is supporting outside of SLJ) I'd argue they're all supporting, Jackson included.

Rooney Mara for Carol. I assume that she is lead (with Cate Blanchett). but just to be sure.

Kalieaswari Srinivasan - Dheepan The most obvious one for me, although I'm likely to be the only one considering throwing her a vote. Good question. I'm actually considering to nominate her too, to be honest. I think she's (co-)lead, but one could also make a case for her in supporting.

Unless for some insane reason we are putting Rooney Mara supporting, then my Top 5s are pretty clear in all cases.

Tom Noonan in Anomalisa. Some critics have put him in as lead, although I'm guessing that the consensus is supporting.

Alfredo Castro and Antonia Zegers in The Club, not like they're going to get any votes anyways...

Didn't vote, but I think I'm fine with most of the acting placements already, as is.
