Welcome to the Movie Awards Redux Past Awards for 2015.
The following categories will have up to 7 nominees:
Best Picture Best Director Best Actor Best Actress Best Supporting Actor Best Supporting Actress Best Ensemble Cast Best Original Screenplay Best Adapted Screenplay
The following categories will have up to 5 nominees:
Best Cinematography Best Production Design Best Costume Design Best Makeup and Hair-styling Best Stunt, Fight and Dance Choreography Best Visual Effects Best Editing Best Sound Mixing Best Sound Editing Best Original Score Best Original Song
Please submit ranked ballots to me. You can submit ballots with less than the category's number or without certain categories other than the top 9.
The top 9 categories will be scored thus:
1. 5 points 2. 4 points 3. 3 points 4. 2 points 5. 1 point 6. 1 point 7. 1 point
You can submit just 5 if you'd like and your top choice will still get the full points. Less than 5 and it will count for fewer points.
The eligibility period will be for the first theatrical release in the film's country (or one of its countries) of origin. Look on IMDb for that information. So films like The Lobster, A Bigger Splash, Embrace of the Serpent and Tale of Tales would be eligible this year. So would 2014 festival releases that were delayed like It Follows, Love & Mercy and Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter. US released films like Clouds of Sils Maria, About Elly, When Marnie Was There and Phoenix will not be eligible, however.
The voting period will be until April 19th at 11:59pm EST. After the nominations are out, there will be a two week voting period and then the winners will be declared.
You can post any FYCs in this thread.

Don't have my lists on hand at the moment, so can't give more thorough FYCs, but for the love of all that is good and holy...
FYC: IT FOLLOWS FOR EVERYTHING
At the very least, let's get it a deserving win in Original Score. In my top three films of the decade, and top three scores. Let's do this one thing right, even if Mad Max destroys us in every other category lol.

Damn, I fluffed Clouds of Sils Maria in my personal Line Ups, I need to move it to 2014. I missed that it hit a few countries in 2014. So Rose Bynre in Spy and Rooney Mara in Carol actually make my Top 5s now.
Elsewhere FYC: Mad Max and The Lobster for everything you can possible vote for them in.
I'll go more in depth later.

FYC: Carol for Best Picture, Actress, Supporting Actress, Direction, Cinematography, Score and Costume Design Even though I am most assuredly not a fan of Carol and would be happy to see it shut out entirely, I do have to give you props for not listing Adapted Screenplay in your FYC for it, because Nagy's "script" is a horrendous take on what is otherwise a pretty good book.
