When I was watching the 2-hour premiere of the third season of TWIN PEAKS I was so immersed and hypnotized by the experience that I wasn't really aware of how much time has gone by and whether the episode was coming to an end (which was also helped by its structure which did not at all indicate that it was ending) so when the Chromatics song was playing and then suddenly Starring KYLE MacLACHLAN appeared on the screen...in combination with that music...dang, I still remember my silly smile and all the chills.

This by far and and away. I love parts, if not most of this as much as any music created for film.

I can't seem to find the clip, but it's an episode of Miami Vice called Forgive Us Our Debts, which has a very memorable ending of Crockett (Don Johnson) being made to look like a fool and the song that comes in is Peter Gabriel's "We Do What We're Told" and it's haunting and sad and kind of creepy.
I always loved that one, haven't seen it in a while but great stuff....

should have been the series finale tbh While I don't agree that this should have been the series finale, this is a great freaking scene.

just off the top of my head, that folksy feel-good montage at the end of The House on Haunted Hill. Hopefully more people know who Gregory Alan Isakov is now.
Oh yeah, and "Rains of Castamere." That's an easy one.

This might be my favorite song use of that show outside of using the theme as the final montage for Season 5. Though Stephen's choice for that episode in Season 2 is great as well.

Considering it has maybe the best soundtrack moments of any series I've seen across all of its seasons, I can't believe this show hasn't been mentioned yet...
