Stone. Unfortunately the Huppert narrative is largely wishful thinking.

Which one do you think is more likely to win over a plurality of 6,000 voters? Huppert won over enough support within the acting branch to secure the nom which is an achievement in and of itself given her film and she's done a hell of a job getting herself out there, but she's up against the already-been-nominated ingénue in the BP juggernaut. The favorite seems pretty clear to me.

Stone has it locked. Stop trying to make it a race.
I'd love for Huppert to win...but it ain't happening.

Stone. As far as personal preference goes: Portman > Stone > Huppert

I still can't believe that Stone is winning this. What a waste of a choice.

Stone will win.
I mean there could be made a case where Huppert wins but it will most likely be Stone considering the buzz of the film

Although I want Huppert to win, it's obviously going to be Stone who wins. The votes from all the American actresses in the Academy will put her over the top. Women such as Bette Midler, Tatum O'Neal, Geena Davis, Joan Cusack, Winona Ryder, Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Michelle Pfeiffer, Holly Hunter etc. I can't picture any of them voting for Isabelle. I think Isabelle's voter support will come mainly from the European members of the Academy. I can easily picture someone like Joan Collins or Brenda Fricker or Adjani voting for Isabelle.

I'm still confused on how this is actually considered a race? What has Huppert won to imply she has any chance?
