What do you mean by this...? It means you are the only person stupid enough to get obsessed with a bunch of horseshit.

Great, no wonder why The Florida Project was almost snubbed. It should've been canned. So you think that Reddit link that I’ve posted is full of s**t as well? FYI, no one cares about reddit, we all just think you're full or shit...reddit is irrelevant; very much like your opinions on, well anything.

Fox tried a similar approach where they released The Post in 3,000 theaters and gave it a big awards push. You wanna bury it, but not make it TOO obvious, y'know? It's totally working, though, because it dropped like a stone! More than two months into its theatrical run, it's sitting just outside the top 10 at the box-office with $79 million domestically so far. Planned flop. It even got a Best Picture nomination, just to make sure the cover-up job wasn't too on-the-nose.

I have to admit, the trailers look terrible. They do not get me excited for the film. The March release date signals to me that Warner Brothers has low hopes for it. But on the other hand, it's directed by Steven Spielberg, and I am a huge Spielberg fan, just like must true film fans are.
Spielberg hasn't directed a "rotten" movie since Jurassic Park: Lost World, and that sits at 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. His worse films to date are 1941 (33%) and Hook (29%).
What do you guys think of the film? Will it be a hit or a gigantic flop?

What do you guys think of the film? Will it be a hit or a gigantic flop? Twitter reactions after the premiere seem good so far. READY PLAYER ONE feels like Spielberg watched a ton of Luc Besson movies and decided to outdo them. In terms of pure spectacle, it’s the most astonishing thing he’s done. Never underestimate Steve. #SXSW #ReadyPlayerOne is classic Steven Spielberg. It’s got the references, the ferocious effects and the great ‘80s soundtrack, sure, but also the charm, the heart, the humor and a fantastic Alan Silvestri score. I loved it & so did this #SXSW crowd. Be excited for it! #ReadyPlayerOne hot take review: a fun, enjoyable film with some amazing set pieces and references (THAT scene). However, the film suffers from a script that has a LOT of convenient plot devices and never really manages to make you care about the characters... 7/10 #sxsw Ready Player One is a whole lot of fun. Those who are stuck in pre-release hate mode better prepare to be disappointed. READY PLAYER ONE: The #SXSW crowd ate it up! The pop culture references are a LOT of fun, geeky glee to see everything together on the big screen. I just wanted more of the real world & more character backstory. I definitely recommend reading the book first!

Stevie boy! Reading the book right now. Interesting for sure, but I’m finding the narration annoying.

Beautiful classic Silvestri. Exactly what I wanted and hoped for (especially considering that his last couple of scores were a bit underwhelming).

Sounds great. Like a mashup of classic Silvestri and Broughton. Love the nod to the BTTF chord leap.

New track. Sounds kinda Avatarish / Horner-like at points. I like it.
