Fuck those cowardly actors who threw Allen under the bus to save face in front of the SJW crowd. lel

WA's official facebook page is posting the trailer tmrw - I wonder if that'll come with US distrib news, we'll know soon enough! Funny coincidence, exactly two years ago tmrw the facebook page posted a great, witty, candid 68 minute talk btwn Robert Weide and WA - still under the videos on the page for those who haven't seen. He seems unhappy with Amazon then, right at the release of Wonder Wheel, he gives hot takes like "Some Like It Hot is a nothing film" and that "The Hill is the best film Sidney Lumet ever made, the best film a lot of people could've ever made" and ends on the now (should be) classic line after being asked after over 80 years if he has any wisdom to share : "…Don’t ever order the guacamole special at a Polish restaurant. I’ve learned that over the years. That’s really the only thing I’ve taught my kids or could impart to anybody else of any value.”

Honestly, that looks like utter garbage. If I were Amazon, I'd be dumping it too.

This looks like Allen’s usual rom-coms, which I usually like a lot.

Hmmmmmmm...........cheating, prostitution, AND whenever he makes anything addressing Hollywood it's always uncomfortably sour and bitter - I'm gonna say I kinda love it and it will get savaged on RT unless they exclude millenial females who like Brie Larson said are absolutely ruining film criticism.
Um.....I may not have that totally right.......but still.

Pretty lame trailer. Hopefully, the actual movie is a whole lot better.

This should find a distrib, and maybe has one already-- Sony Pictures Classics out of the question? They have a good history together and have open spots in September or later. Just release a strong statement defending the acquisition and refer objectors back to the statement when necessary. It's the Polanski pic that we might not see in the states this year...

If the actors are not supporting him, why would the studios? I can't believe what is happening with this situation. People need to stop being sheep and realize that sometimes people lie.

This is getting released tomorrow in my country. I'll probably watch it sometime next week but I'm afraid it will suck...

Fanning looks great but otherwise a pretty lame trailer, and if it turns out bad like all of Woody's other recent projects I'm just going to continue pretending he retired in 2013.

This is a movie I won't be able to trust reviews to have some idea beforehand. It took so long to be out, and Allen is such a charged, controversial figure right now that it'd only get good reviews if it was another Annie Hall or if this was Fanning's Blue Jasmine moment. It probably isn't and no one expected it to be, which is fine. I like most of Allen's 2010 output, so I guess I could dig it.
