Back on tonight
Guests: Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie and Reese Witherspoon
That's quite a lineup. I wonder who'll be stuck at the end of the coach.

Is Reese always this bad on talkshows? I don't think I've ever seen her on one aside from maybe Fallon and Hollywood celebs seem to always like Fallon. Reese here just seems like she wants to gtfo and it comes off as rude. Maybe she was trying not to be political idk but man even her laughs seem forced. Ryan's not any better but that's his usual "private person" interview persona. At least Margot was fun.

I don't think Witherspoon has been this annoying before, is it her age or something? suddenly she's refinied or what ?, she's been before in the show and was totally into it. She's looking incredibly sexy these days though. I dono't know why Gosling keeps going, he doesn't wanna be there, he's stiffness personified. And exactly how many sedatives did Ford took ? Maybe he thought he waspulling dry humor very well but nope. One of the worst episodes I've ever seen. Never before I've seen an interview of Margot Robbie, I'm a fan now, she's incredibly cute and grounded, her "I'm not particularly good at it but I love doing it" was the best moment of the show. Fortunately next week Queen Winslet and Idris Elba will be on the show. That seals the deal for me.

LOL yeah Ford just came off as an old man with early dementia I'm not sure that I even like Gosling on interviews, despite most of his fans going on and on about his comedic timing and chemistry w his co-stars. He just seems oddly defensive, cagey, and reluctant to talk. Then why take the interview? watching his interviews with Stone for LLL made Stone feel a lot more toned down than she used to be too and I blame him. Margot was taking one for this whole team of bores. Reese reminded me of her character on Big Little Lies. Elba & Winslet should be gold.

God, I love Margot Robbie.
Overall, pretty bad show. Gosling and Witherspoon looked like they wanted to be anywhere else, Ford was sometimes funny but mostly in an awkward, kinda sad way. But Robbie was just fantastic - this was the first time I'd really seen her on a talk show or anything, and was surprised at how natural and modest she was while still being fun. She's basically what Jennifer Lawrence was hyped up to be personality wise.

Have to agree with everyone, this was an unfortunately weak opening. Ford was odd, Gosling awkward and Witherspoon barely said enough for me too comment. Thankfully Robbie added some much needed likability and laughs.

This week was a lot better.
But goddamn, Liam Gallagher is as volatile as ever--how does this man still have a career? His behaviour re his brother is fully abusive.

the Winslet/Idris Elba/Chris Rock/Gallagher ep was actually hilarious. Haven't watched the show in a long time, but that was just wall-to-wall hilarious. "That sip? My ex-wife owns 30% of that sip."

So Friday got us back to the usual Norton greatness. Winslet, Elba and Rock were all plenty of fun, and as ever, Liam was a car crash . Top stuff!!

Last night's show was the most entertaining so far this season. Many memorable moments, but I don't think anything this season will top this one:
Kidman... she's so awkward, not very good with words and doesn't know when to stop, but the whole clip was brillant. Fonda was having a ball too.

Last Friday was fantastic and one of the best I've seen from the show. All the guests were funny and having fun.
