RIP . Shocking and sad news. Her band was also part of my childhood and adolescence.

Sad. I'm a huge Cranberries fan too. Maybe I'm too old now, but I definitely liked them before. And I have considered them all time favorites and my play count of them is still huge (maybe a bit outdated though).
My question is... how??? Not drug overdose I assume.
Great farewell song:

Fuck! The Cranberries were, of course, an essential for any 90s kid. That heavenly voice. I will be blasting Zombie, Dreams, and Linger in her honor today.

Ugh so tragic and so young. How the hell did she died? Some russian media outlets said it was a suicide . Don't know if that's true , though.

This is so depressing, The Cranberries are still one of my favourite bands. I'd been listening to Twenty One on a loop this past week and now... 46 is so young

The Cranberries were one of the bands I heard the most during my teenage years. I almost feel like part of my adolescence died today. RIP

This made me bawl so much tears, “Linger” and “Dreams” are two of my favourite songs of all time. What a truly heartbreaking loss. RIP darling 😭

Hey, who remembers in the 90s when every other movie trailer had "Dreams" by the Cranberries in it? You would hear her angelic voice just yodeling and crooning in the background? That IS quintessential 90s for me.

I would have been 11/12 years old when The Cranberries where starting to become the hit band that they did, and they were at their peak in that 93 - 97 period, which was when I really started to become a music fan and particularly and rock & alternative rock fan.
They always ranked for me as a band, and Dolores O'Riordan had the quirky voice of an Angel. Also, it was great to have an Irish band who were massively successful worldwide, that weren't the pompous gasbag led U2.
A lot of talk has centered around Dreams, Zombie and Linger since O'Riordan passed away, but these ones will live long in my memory too...
"Ode to My Family" "I Can't Be with You" "Salvation" (Posting the video, because it's awesome)
"Free to Decide" "When You're Gone" (A personal favourite) and "Promises"

Still can't believe it's been 20 months since she has been dead. My mind still hasn't even grasped the fact that she's already dead. Like if you asked me earlier today before my brain finally woke up, I still honestly thought she was still alive. Now... it finally caught on.... she's gone. Died so tragically young, felt like she didn't deserve it. Can't overstate how big of an impact The Cranberries have played in my music listening lifetime.
