linkThere's an article in the Washington Post of an author who was able to read the archive of Woody Allen. Quite interesting, especially in background of one of the big topics of those last months.

That is a disgusting piece and intellectually dishonest and sick one at that - essentially linking artistic thought and "thought crime" to legitimate depravity and crime (?) - and it's weird because I thought about killing the writer of that BS while I was reading and now hope the cops don't find out and put me in (thought) jail.
An artists thoughts and notes in the service of his art subject to an imbeciles judgment. How can anyone read that and not assume it was a joke (sadly, it's not) is mind boggling.

While I dislike the article whose writer just seems to be looking for a scandal, you've also to look for the bigger whole picture. If this was about another author it wouldn't bear too much meaning, but it just fits into context with Allen's history very much and might just be a further indication about him. The same way the author is exaggerating things you are playing them down.

I dunno, I mean I am just "playing down" things for a guy who was never charged with anything, was investigated and cleared following an investigation, was only threatened with this as part of a custody hearing and never before or since. One accusation.
There's no evidence except the word of the victim, who is clearly due to her age and circumstances of this case not necessarily 100% reliable.
I am all for looking at the bigger picture, but the bigger picture has to be some evidence. There's no there, there at all.....it just rings false. Where there's smoke there's fire but to me, I don't even see the smoke.....
