Only one I've seen is Peaky Blinders (the first season, anyway). I found it pretty dull and aimless. It had good ideas, but it felt like a TV show. The narrative wasn't driving towards anything, and this kills tension in a show that is much more plot based than character based.

The only one I watch is Black Mirror which varies wildly in terms of quality but you're going to find something to like there, and lots to think about and discuss.

I REALLY need to check out Black Mirror. Have only heard/ read good things about it.
For me though, go with Mindhunter . Just warning ya, it features some gnarly shit and sometimes makes Law & Order look like Fraggle Rock. pretty heavy shit involving serial killers . I found it to be masterfully done though (with a good amount of episodes directed by David Fincher) Highly recommend it!
Godless was worth a watch too. Really dug it and had a satisfying conclusion / finale .

Mindhunter - Awesome. Very talky, and psychologically dark/twisted. So it's something you have to be in the mood for. Black Mirror - Only watched 3 episodes. No comment. Godless - It's good. I think it doesn't quite sustain it's early promise, but it's still a riot of a time. Episodes vary fairly extremely in terms of length. Be warned Peaky Blinders - I don't love it as much as some people do, but I've been watching it since it started, and yet to give up, so can't complain too much. If you like this kind of thing it's very satisfying, and Murphy is amazing. You may need subtitles The Handmaid's Tale - Another I don't like as much as some people, but it is very good. I'm not sure you'd like this as much as some of these others from what I have gathered over time of your taste! Glow - Outstanding. Tonally it's very much like Orange is the New Black, make of that what you will.

Started Black Mirror already but will definitely do a Mindhunter/Glow combo next (guessing I'll need some breathers and won't want to binge Mindhunter).

Tough. I voted for Black Mirror bc it's generally a must-see. You don't have to watch all of it, but watch the few well-known episodes from the various seasons...and you'll understand the appeal. The show is an essential imo and a staple tv show of the modern era.
The others: Loooove Handmaid's Tale, one of the few shows I started, stuck with, and finished in the past year. Great adaptation (and I hated the book)--great cast, fantastic production design, and crisp storytelling. Peaky Blinders is a personal favourite of mine, if only for Cillian Murphy. He is so, so, so perfect in his role as Tommy Shelby. I'd give him every award possible for it. But aside from Murphy, if I were trying to be objective about the show (he is the integral part of it): I find the writing overly complicated (ie: the plot), and many of the side characters feel unnecessary or paper-thin. Still, watching Tommy Shelby do his thing is worth it (for me). It took me a good three tries to get into it (largely bc of the accents at first lol, and then because the plot was so overwroght)
Mindhunter eh, I only watched like two episodes and I don't get the hype. too slow-paced and I don't like Groff in it.
Haven't watched Glow. Started Godless and I intend to complete it but lately ive been really passe about tv and complete like every 5th show I start lol.

Probably too late to matter, but Mindhunter rules.
