Beggars Banquet through Exile On Main Street is their peak, and the peak in their era, and arguably all time in Rock even afterwards - it's where they topped Dylan, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, it doesn't matter who you name and crucially that includes.........themselves and their previous work. No other band created Art without overtly chasing to create it as they did in that 68-72 period.
Exile is my fave, my 2nd fave album by anyone of all time but really all 4 of those are separated by the smallest of margins.
Any one of that 68-72 holy quartet would be a more than worthy pick (Beggars Banquet maybe slightly less so) but it's Sticky Fingers that is always the one for me. Maybe slightly less flavourful than the two either side of it, but it's the one I'd happily listen to all the way through the most often.

Beggars Banquet or Let it Bleed. Although, the Stones for me aren't a band where I will throw on one of their albums and hear it from start to finish. I like to construct my own playlists of favorite songs from their albums.
