Now this is one damn good album (and the only one of Waits that I've listened to completely, so many times).
Top 5 Tracks?
Mine probably:
1. Rain Dogs 2. Jockey full of Bourbon 3. Time 4. Tango Till They Sore 5. Singapore
HM: Hang down your head.

The best of the post-Swordsfishtrombones stuff which was a breaking point in his career - though I'd argue early Waits is underrated and some later Waits (post 83) is slightly overrated but it's all good, he's made great records in each period. Not many duds on Rain Dogs, its great all the way through. I'd say its his best record overall and among the top 10 albums of the 80s, one of the few that was made by an artist who goes back before the 80s actually.
Jockey Full of Bourbon/Walking Spanish/Clap Hands/Tango Til They're Sore/Gun Street Girl

I'd argue early Waits is underrated Closing Time is beautiful. I had never heard him that tender before. Will definitely check out more of his early days.
