I know another one, but there's one for music and film too, so let's do it TV exclusive.
This one is going to be a big one for me but...
1. Friends is not that good of a show, a lot of the earlier episodes before Monica and Chandler became a thing or went in public are quite hard for me to watch. Plus, that whole Ross and Rachel. Fucking living hell!
2. SNL is too hit and miss for me to become even a top 10 skit shows. Give me Chappelle's Show, In Living Color, Kids in the Hall, and especially Monty Python over them. Hell, even the highly obscure and short lived British show The Sketch Show was better.
3. The Wire stopped being a legendary show when season 4 came and it seems to focus on something else. Maybe I might watch more.
4. Not really that unpopular, but I can't watch House of Cards anymore because of you know what. I love that show but the fact I started watching is...ahh. I might get back to it.
5. I love the original Twilight Zone (hell one of my favorite shows), but I can think of many episodes better than It's a Good Life.

Westworld is the most pretentious and repetitive show I've probably ever seen.

The X-Files 8th Season is one of its strongest.
True Detective S1 is decent but massively overpraised.
First 2 seasons of Twin Peaks aren't all that, although there are definitely some masterpiece episodes here and there.

Season 8 is much better than its rep suggests, and I'd argue Seasons 7 and 10 are by far the worst the series had to offer. Seasons 8 and 9 are actually pretty solid, except the show really needed to jettison Mulder and Scully entirely and cement Doggett and Reyes as main characters in their own right. I think if they'd done that, the show could've continued for years afterward.

I have no idea how controversial these are:
Clara Oswald is the Doctor's worst companion.
Clara Oswald is the Doctor's best companion.
The Muppet Show should return as an actual variety show.
The best TV of anime crushes the best TV of the U.S.

I enjoyed Breaking Bad but it really isn't all that interesting once it's over (if that makes sense) and I'm not sure why so many people hail it as this untouchable masterpiece.
The Simpsons kind of sucks.
The final episode of Lost is great. The show also would've been better overall if they answered even less of the mysteries than they did, not the other way around.
The Roadhouse scenes in Twin Peaks: The Return were amazing and I can't believe how many people write them off as pointless.
The original Star Trek is just painfully bad.

I love the original Twilight Zone (hell one of my favorite shows), but I can think of many episodes better than It's a Good Life. -I enjoy Friends, and even shipped Ross and Rachel back when it first aired when I was younger. After watching repeats and growing older though, I can't really stand them getting together. Rachel isn't perfect, but Ross just has too many issues that he never got over from his first marriage. Of course, compared to Rachel and Joey, Ross and Rachel doesn't seem so bad. I always try to avoid those whenever they're rerun. Ross and Rachel and Monica and Chandler was more than enough, and once it became Rachel and Joey too, it just seemed like things became too incestuous and complicated. -I love whenever they do The Twilight Zone marathons, but yes "It's a Good Life" isn't my favorite either; although, I do like The Simpsons parody of it. -Let me see, I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but even though I enjoyed the series and still watch reruns of it, I don't know how the other three women of Sex and the City could stand Carrie. She was the worst. -I never found Everybody Loves Raymond that funny. I liked Robert and Frank, but I didn't find the constant bickering or the mother in law from hell to be funny at all.

True Detective's 2nd season was pretty fucking awesome IMO . Also, Carnivale was one of the best shows HBO ever created (shame it was canceled )

I'm watching Sex and the City again at the moment, just about to start the second half of the final season. I never liked Carrie, but my god, this time round I borderline hate her. She's an intolerable, judgemental, self-centered arsehole. Whether it's the way she treats the decent or even great men in her life, while complaining about the lack of good men out there, or the way she only briefly indulges in her friends lives before turning the attention back to her, or the moments of trashy judgmentalness she exhibits towards her friends, especially Samantha...the woman is an A-Grade nightmare. I wonder sometimes if they threw in Jack Berger towards the end, just to humanise her atrociousness.
I couldn't agree more on Everybody Loves Raymond too, it is an irredeemable horror show.

Although Season 7 had some really great episodes (i.e X-Cops, Orison, Hollywood A.D., etc.). Pretty incredible how they maintained that level of quality considering the amount of episodes they did and how long it lasted.

American television has never produced a great dramatic series. Heck, it's barely produced any good ones.

The King of Queens is super enjoyable. This and Everybody Loves Raymond are really popular and constantly quoted among my family. I like Raymond more but Queens is hilarious often... there's an ep S1E24 "Art House" that I not only quote constantly from but it's a sneakily deep episode too.

I used to not be a really big Everybody Loves Raymond fan when it was airing but like it a lot more watching in syndication. Especially since I can better appreciate the marriage humor. I’m still working from home so TBS sitcoms are an easy thing to throw on in the background.
